With the new join flow, the functionality of the “waiting for host” window is combined with the Waiting Room window. The video preview window, if the participant has this setting enabled, and/or,.“Please wait for the host to join”, if the host has not started the meeting.Currently, users see up to three separate dialogue windows before entering a meeting: Zoom has introduced a new meeting “Join Flow” that streamlines the user experience when joining meetings. Please review the content in this announcement as well as Zoom’s New Meeting Join Flow support page for more information. However, the audio transcription should be mostly accurate, and you can edit the transcription file if you notice these errors by using either TextEdit or Notepad.Note: The new join flow that is outlined below will be enforced on April 22nd, 2023.
Note: There may be some errors that occur in automatic transcription which can be worsened by factors such as poor audio quality on the speaker’s end. Once the audio transcript file has been opened, you should open in Notepad (on Windows computers) or TextEdit (on Mac computers). Click the icon to download your audio transcript. Hover your mouse over this, and a download icon will appear (highlighted in red below).
In this list, will be a file called “Audio transcript”. At this point, Zoom will send you an email confirming that your recording is available online and give you a link to it.Ĭlick the link in your email to be taken to your Cloud Recordings folder on Zoom web. Once the meeting has ended, or you manually stop the recording, Zoom will process the recording before making it available to you to access. Choose “Record to the Cloud” when you’re ready to start your meeting. Once you have enabled cloud re cording and audio transcript, host your Zoom meeting, then left-click the Record icon on the Meeting Controls. Make sure that Cloud recording and Audio transcript are both ON. On the Web app, go to Settings > Recording.
